Faithful to the principle that a good understanding is a consequence of an efficient dialogue, the organizing committee took the decision to organize 2 debates on very actual themes.
We called them “Panel Discussions” as they are intended to be organized as follows: a panel composed of a host or a facilitator and three or four other technical experts discuss the subject, then they invite the audience to debate, as well.
The topics to be discussed about are the following:
Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) & Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) - questions discussed
The host will be Dr. Danut MARINESCU from University of Pitesti.
The technical experts are as follows:
- Nicolas SCHOTTEY, Deputy Program Director for Battery and Infrastructures for the Electric Vehicle at RENAULT, France
- Francois BADIN, Directeur Expert, Electrification des Véhicules, IFP Energies nouvelles, France
- Stefan KANYA, Director of AVL Romania
Real Driving Emissions (RDE) via Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS) - questions discussed

Moreover, since sharing good practices is a good method for improvement of our activities, the organizing committee is happy to announce that Professor Corina SANDU from VirginiaTech, USA will give the following lecture: “USA system of education”. At the end of her presentation, we expect the audience to debate on the need to improve the STEM education process in any country. Equally, good examples or success stories from participants countries will be welcome.
